Zentangles

Kia ora Ruru Today I decided it would be a fun idea to have a go at an art task. I chose drawing Zentangles I used hairspray and a cream container as my circle templates. It was quite challenging trying to get the circles perfect as I traced around them and also coming up with heaps of different patterns to put inside each space. But I made some cool designs my favourite one is the Pizza I got that idea from Mr Williams art task he did. I hope you like my artwork. stay safe Ruru

Have you done a art project while you have been in your bubble? I would love to know what you have been up to.

  1. Hi Karaitiana, I love your Zentangle. The shapes are amazing and I think your pizza one is so cool. I have done some zentangles with my family during lockdown and we have found them so relaxing. Have you tried putting a little bit of colour in your creations? I did one where I added only one other colour in my picture.

  3. Hi Karaitiana, it's Mr Williams. Your art looks so cool! I like that you have different patterns and designs in each of the circles. My favourite one is the circle on the right hand side in the middle. It looks like a beach ball. I also like that you used a hairspray bottle to get your circles perfect. One of my other isolation art projects had lots of circles so I used the lid of a jar to get mine perfect to! How long did this take you to make?

    1. Hi Mr Williams, thanks for the comment.i did use hairspray bottles and also a small cup.I was a bit challenging to get my hand around the whole can but I did eventually get it.This took me about 1 minute to make the circles and to design it took me 5 or 4 minutes.
