Paper Hat

Hi Ruru, today my mum tasked me to make a paper hat. This took me about 4 or 5 minuets to make and decorate.I made this hat for my first ever teddy I got.She is 9 yrs old and turning 10 on the 13th of July.So I thought I would make her something. If you want to make this you will need:

  • Paper
  • Felts or crayons
  • Model
  • If you want to make this here are the steps:
  1. Take your paper and fold it in half.
  2. Take a ruler and place it on your paper and then draw a line at the half way mark.
  3. Take the top ends of your paper and fold them to the line.
  4. Take the TOP half of the paper and fold it over
  5. Turn your paper around and do the same.Fold it over
  6. FINALLY decorate ad colour.

Have you ever made a Paper hat?Tell me what I could of done better and if I make another hat what I could do next time.I hope you liked my hat and the design.I really love making things.
Stay Safe Ruru

  1. Hi Karaitiana,
You have done such a fantastic job with your blog post! I like how you have added pictures for each step of the hat-making process. I have to say, I was a bit confused when I saw 'LAMBSHANK' written along the side... Is that the name of your teddy?? If so, you have great skills in naming things! :)
Remember that your blog is going to be seen by lots of different people - not just people in Ruru. I'm sure that others around the world would be sad if they missed out on your bubbly blog posts.
Keep up the great work and stay safe :)

  2. I love the set out of your blog post Karatiana. You have clearly listed the equipment needed and the step by step visuals really make it easy to follow what happens next. I wonder if you had thought of writing bullet points or a sentence explaining each photo?
