SPACE! Reading!!!

Hey guys welcome back to my blog!
This week for reading we were looking into space! It has been so fun.We got to chose a book to read 3 times! I picked  ¨The problem with Pluto¨.

My book was about how Pluto was found,named AND turned into a....dwarf planet. Venetia Burney named Pluto at the age of 11! Pluto was found by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930, the 18th February. Then....in 2006 August, they found other planets that were the same size as Pluto...smaller than Mercury. Because Pluto was small and there were other ¨Planets¨ the same size, Pluto was now considered a Dwarf planet.Now some people dont agree but Pluto is a dwarf planet.

Create tasks:
Design your own planet! (On a sheet,include materials, signs of life extra info etc. Use your imagination!)
2. Create a slideshow about YOUR planet. Make sure everything in your planning sheet is on that slide.
P.S we had to do the 1st task in our book thats why its not on my screen :) !

Cybersmart create a poster!

 Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Last week for cybersmarts we had to create our own poster on how we take care of our Chromebooks! I put in 5 tips to look after your Chromebook. Now im posting it on my blog. Steps:

Reading Big Shift

 Hey guys.Today Im posting my reading work for the week.(The bold writing is a description of the book!) We had to pick a cool book, read it 3 times. 1. With a teacher. 2. With a buddy 3. Independent. Once you read the book 3 times we had to watch the other 2 texts on the site.The create tasks are still the same, make a character profile template and create an animation on what a good friend is! Also, since I finished my work early, I was told by my teacher Mrs Lee to create a poster on what a good friend is. SO i did, on Piktochart , it was really fun doing extra tasks.What my book is about.My book was about a boy who lived in they country with his mum, dad and family until his parents spilt up, the kids went with mum to the city and dad stayed in the country. At first the main character disliked the city because he missed everything at the farm! But after a while he started liking things the hearing the different languages and smelling the different smells and just being nosy. One day he saw 2 kids beating up a foreign kid so he went down there and broke up the fight. The boys said that they will bring their older brother with fists and the main character said that he was SO scared. After that he became friends with the boy, Tomo, and his friend Somalia. They always played together while they were waiting for the laundry. So the moral of the story is about being a good friend and how things change. Thats what I think anyway! So I hope you enjoy this post!

Reading No big deal

 2021! HEY GUYS! Happy new year!I hope you had a amazing holiday.Today i will be posting my reading work for the week. We had to pick a book, read it 3 times. 1. With a teacher. 2. With a buddy 3. Independent. Once you read the book 3 times you had to watch the other 3 texts on the site. My book was about a boy named Cody who is colourblind but doesn't know it! He puts the crayons in the wrong boxes. He almost went into the girls bathroom (there were no signs. Boys red door girls green). He also drew his sky purple. Now he thought he was doing everything normal until his friend Gemma started asking questions. Also telling him all the mistakes he did. She knew because he brother was colourblind everything Cody was doing her little brother was doing. Now..... the tasks. 1st you had to describe what your character looked like, personality, dislikes, and what they like. After this you had to create a animation on what makes a good friend on Render forest or Bite able. But before this you had to type down 10 things that make a good friend on a Google Doc. Then you can make your animation. After this finally you post it on your blog like what im doing right now! Hope you guys enjoy!!!
